Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, through its Center for Global Health, and under the Global Health Security (GHS) Agenda, has identified Zoonotic Diseases one of the key threats; one of GHS objectives is to minimize the risk of zoonotic disease emergence and implement guidance and models on behaviors, policies and practices to minimize spillover, spread, and full emergence of zoonotic disease into human population. To this effect, 24X7SYSTEMS has been awarded a contract to provide Technical Assistance, training and mentorship, and evaluation services to local officials and Ministries of Health, Agriculture and Ecology, worldwide. CDC considers this contract critical to the achievement of the overall efforts and requirements of CDC global health activities.
HRMS, a division of Health and Human Services, awarded 24X7SYSTEMS an enterprise wide contract to enhance and maintain fourteen information technology platforms; the award entails, complete design, development, integration and testing of entire suite of enterprise applications on these platforms; currently HRMS utilizes the systems to provide automated support for various services organization wide. In addition to the full life-cycle services, 24X7SYSTEMS has also been entrusted to create reports and queries, incident resolution, security vulnerability mitigation and SLA driven technical assistance to end-users across the IT enterprise.
The Division of Scientific Education and Professional Development (DSEPD) provides leadership in public health training and education, and manages innovative, evidence-based programs to prepare the health workforce to meet public health challenges of the 21st century. Academic Partnerships to Improve Health (APIH) focuses on improving the health of individuals and communities through alliances among academic associations and CDC. APIH drives improvement of health outcomes by working within the educational systems for public health, medical, and nursing students to enhance teaching of population health concepts; aligning academic approaches (curricula, teaching materials, or methods) and field experiences with ground-level public health priorities and practice needs; supporting workforce development; fostering inter-professional collaboration and learning in health professional education; providing opportunities for hands-on experience for students at CDC headquarter locations. 24X7SYSTEMS was awarded a contract by APIH to provide consulting for managing and coordinating programmatic support for the overall program activities
24X7SYSTEMS has been awarded a contract at CDC’s Global Immunization Division (GID). GID has been operating under a 5 year strategic framework (2011-15), which acts as a guiding document for the range of immunizations-related activities across CDC global programs and with key external partners, including the World Health Organization and UNICEF. GID is planning a review process through which it has begun discussions with staff and external partners regarding its future strategic directions for the next 5 year period (2016-2020). This review process will help determine how GID should move forward with defining the goals and objectives of the 2016-2020 strategic framework. To assist with this process, 24X7SYSTEMS consultant had been assigned with developing a CDC multi-year strategic plan is needed to review materials and information obtained from the 2011 – 2015 strategic framework and provide advice to GID Management team to successfully develop the 2016 – 2020 strategic framework.
